Working at summer camp is one of the most rewarding positions you will ever hold! Camp Nan A Bo Sho focuses on giving children a chance to explore and discover more about themselves in an environment that provides friendship and support. The camp staff play a huge role in developing our campers into strong and confident individuals. If you have an interest in working with children and love being outdoors, we have a job for you!

How to Apply
Applications are now being accepted for the 2017 season. If you are interested in working at camp please fill out our Camp Staff Application. If you have previously worked at Camp Nan A Bo Sho please fill out our Returning Camp Staff Application.

All applicants must also complete and submit a general YMCA Application.

Daily Living
While camp work is super fun, there is still work to be done. All staff will work for 12-13 weeks of the summer, living with 35 other staff members and working with up to 130 campers each week. Housing and food is provided as well as access to free laundry, wifi and a staff lounge.

All positions require CPR and First Aid training with some positions requiring more advance certifications. Paid pre-camp training is provided and required for all staff.

All staff are given two hours off each day and 12 hours off each week. Time off schedule varies by week. Camp sessions run Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon with staff having off most weekends, except for two weekends designated as family weekends.
