Our Philosophy

We believe in health and well-being for everyone. We are here for you, to help you grow in spirit, mind and body. Our nationally certified personal trainers will coach, motivate and inspire you to reach your goals and achieve the results you have always wanted. There is no better way to reach your wellness goals, train for an event or achieve optimal health than to work one-on-one with a Personal Trainer. At the Y, you will be part of a welcoming and nurturing environment where together we will achieve the results you have always wanted.

Meeting Your Expectations

At the Y, working with a Personal Trainer should be more than just a workout. Many Health and Wellness goals can only be achieved by addressing all aspects of wellness. When you work with a YMCA Personal Trainer you not only receive a great workout experience, you also receive the following:

  • Initial Wellness Consultation and Profile
  • Ongoing Fitness Assessments every 12 weeks
  • Nationally certified Personal Trainers that specialize in providing motivation, encouragement and accountability
  • Customized Training Programs developed based on your goals and needs
  • Nutrition and Exercise Tracking
  • Access to Wellness Professionals including Physical Therapists and Registered Dietitians
  • Access to Memberhub: a network of information, resources, nutrition information, exercise and wellness tips
  • Client only invitations to presentations conducted by local Health and Wellness Professionals
  • Enrollment in the YMCA Loyalty Program to obtain FREE Personal Training Sessions.

Small Group Personal Training

Get Fit Together! Contact your local Y branch with a group of 3-8 individuals and we will work with you to schedule a time that meets the needs of your group. Small Group Personal Training not only saves you money but also provides a supportive, energetic atmosphere to help you achieve your goals. Workouts will be designed based on your group’s goals and needs. Possible options include:
  • Cardio & Strength
  • Functional Fitness
  • TRX / Kettlebell / Bosu
  • Boot Camp
  • Yoga / Pilates
  • Athletic / Sports Conditioning

  2. Step Two - After receiving the inquiry form the Fitness / Wellness Director will contact you and determine the personal trainer that matches your individual needs.
  3. Step Three - A Personal Trainer will contact you to schedule your initial Wellness Consultation and your first personal training session.
