Age-Appropriate

Infants and Toddlers (6 weeks-2 years)

Babies love the bright, safe, stimulating atmosphere of our infant center. Staff with specialized training in early brain development provide a warm, nurturing environment for your infant. Your child will receive special, individual attention, which builds affection and trust. A wide variety of age-appropriate activities and toys help your baby develop skills and provide you with peace of mind while you're away.

Transitional Twos (2-3 years)

Our transitional program provides the new experiences two-year-olds thrive on: taking apart and putting together, mixing and matching, filling and emptying, sorting and building. Our programs also emphasize large motor play inside & outside and promote coordination and strength in growing bodies. Our staff will provide the praise and individual attention your child needs to develop a positive sense of self and others in these early years.

Pre-School / Pre-Kindergarten (3-6 years)

YMCA Pre-K encourages children to be creative, whether composing a refrigerator masterpiece, playing a musical instrument, singing songs or planting seeds and watching them grow. Our developmentally appropriate programs offer preschoolers the opportunity to make new friends and develop self-confidence in a sharing atmosphere. Special enrichment programs offer classroom experiences for the preschool-age child.

School Age (5-12 years)

What are your kids doing after school? At the YMCA School Age Program, kids build self-esteem, values and leadership skills. You'll know they're growing and exploring their potential; they'll think they're just having fun. The YMCA offers No School Days for full days off school at the YMCA. Before and Afterschool Sites are available at various neighborhood schools within the YMCA of the Fox Cities.
