Family Activities at the Y

2016 YMCA INDOOR TRIATHLON SERIES
• Fox Valley Regional

Swim, Bike and Run your way to fun! Join the Oshkosh YMCA, the YMCA of the Fox Cities and the Green Bay YMCA for this first to the area Indoor Triathlon Series. Participate in 1, 2 or all 3 events to earn bragging rights and test your fitness against athletes from the Fox Valley. Open to all fitness levels and anyone at least 8 years old AND at least 4’10” tall.

Each triathlon includes: 10 minute swim • 20 minute cycle • 15 minute run

  • March 13, 2016 - Green Bay Broadview YMCA
  • April 9, 2016 – Appleton YMCA
  • April 30, 2016 – Oshkosh 20th Ave. YMCA

Awards to Overall Male & Overall Female and Age Group Winners. The top male and female who have competed in all three events will receive an award. There will not be a team division.

Register in person at the YMCA the event will be held at.
Fee: $25 per person: Appleton & Oshkosh,
Fee: $45 per person: Green Bay.

HEALTHY KIDS DAY COMMUNITY EVENT
• Heart of the Valley YMCA

Saturday 1:00–4:00 PM May 7

A special day of fun activities meant to help build on the incredible potential inside each and every child. Activities will include sports, fitness, crafts, health and safety, performances and community attractions.

SPRING WILDFLOWERS HIKE (ALL AGES)

Saturday 3:00 -5:00 PM May 14

Join our naturalists at the Bruce B. Purdy Nature Preserve and Apple Creek YMCA for a guided hike on our ever changing trails. See and learn about our plants and spring flowers while enjoying the spring landscape. Hikes begin at the Apple Creek YMCA begin with a short program in the Nature Study Classroom. Pre-registration is required.
