Members of the Y-Service Club volunteer their time and talents for YMCA events and programming as well as community events. We also hold two major fundraising events per year: A Christmas tree sale and a pancake breakfast. These fundraisers benefit YMCA programs such as Youth in Government, Camp Hope - a special needs day camp, Camp Nan A Bo Sho - a summer resident camp, Active Older Adult programming, YMCA Child Care, the Strong Kids Scholarship Campaign - for those with financial need, plus many more impact programs for youth, adults, and families.
Volunteerism and Fun
"Service" is in our name, but our members also like to have fun! The Y-Service Club hosts an annual golf outing and social in September and attends a Timber Rattlers game every summer.
