Many of our staff were honored to attend a workshop held in Chicago by the faculty of FOX networks “So You Think You Can Dance”! We experienced two exciting days dancing with Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Brian Friedman, Chris Judd, Dave Scott and Laurieann Gibson. We learned current combinations and choreography along with training techniques to pass down to our dancers. The photo below shows Studio Y Dance Staff with the choreographers. |

“The Pulse” |
A special thanks to the PAC for offering our 3rd annual master dance class to the YMCA of the Fox Cities dancers and dance staff. Two of the cast members from “Chicago” led a fabulous master class and taught choreography for “All That Jazz”. The class was followed by a question and answer segment. It was a great opportunity for our dancers to learn and they were thrilled to meet cast member from the show. Studio Y instructors and students are shown with cast members in the photo below. |
