The day opens at the breathtaking Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette — one of only eight continental Bahá’í temples in the world and a true architectural masterpiece. A guided tour takes you through the stunning structure and its serene surrounding gardens, offering a peaceful and awe-inspiring start to the day. Next, we savor a delicious Italian lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy, known for its warm hospitality and classic dishes. In the afternoon, travel to the Milwaukee Art Museum for a guided tour. The theme for our tour will be ‘Highlights of the Collection’ while exploring the iconic architecture.
The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center is one of the most significant museums in the country — dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust and using those lessons to combat hatred, prejudice, and indifference today. The docent-led tour brings history to life through powerful personal stories, artifacts, and exhibits that leave a lasting impression. This is more than a museum visit — it’s an experience that challenges and inspires in equal measure, and one that makes this Chicago day trip truly unforgettable.
