The Y Is Here for Everyone
At the Y, strengthening the foundation of our community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone — regardless of age, income, or background — has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Our Membership for All program provides financial assistance for qualifying individuals and families, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to joining the Y. The program is supported through contributions to the Mission In Action Campaign and reviewed on a sliding scale based on household income.
How to Apply
Stop by the Member Services Desk at any YMCA of the Fox Cities location and inquire about Membership For All. A Member Services staff member will determine your rate and set up your payment plan. Eligibility for financial assistance will be determined after a review of your application, and the length of assistance will be reviewed every 6–12 months. The YMCA reserves the right to request financial documentation and to accept only qualifying applicants. Joiner fees are waived for Membership For All members.
Program & Childcare Assistance
In addition to membership assistance, the Y offers program and childcare financial assistance on a sliding scale — with a maximum of 40% assistance available. To be eligible for childcare assistance, parents or guardians must be employed or enrolled in school. If applying for assistance at a licensed childcare site, please apply to the County or Wisconsin Shares program prior to applying for Membership For All through the Y. An approval or denial letter from the Wisconsin Shares program is required when applying for childcare assistance. Childcare assistance is available for a maximum of six months.
