Youth Wellness Center Orientations

We want every young person to have the opportunity to work out and be healthy.

Y members ages 8–13 who complete a Youth Wellness Center Orientation are welcome to use our wellness center with a supervising adult age 16 or older. Orientations cover wellness center safety and etiquette, as well as proper use of cardio and circuit weight equipment.

Age-Specific Guidelines:

  • Ages 8–10: Cardio machines under direct supervision.
  • Ages 11–13: Cardio machines, circuit weight equipment, and free weight area with direct supervision.
  • Ages 14+: Cardio machines, circuit weight equipment, and free weight area.
