The YMCA of the Fox Cities is proud to offer a world-class tennis experience at the Ogden YMCA and Valley Tennis Center. Our facility features 6 indoor hard courts, a spacious air-conditioned viewing area, full locker rooms with professional towel service, and an on-site ProShop with re-stringing services. Whether you are a first-time player or a seasoned competitor, we have programs, lessons, leagues, and court time to match your goals. Our tennis staff brings decades of combined experience, professional certifications, and a genuine passion for growing the game at every level. From junior development to adult leagues, our pros are here to help you reach your goals on the court.
Scott Meixl — Racquet Sports Director
With over two decades of PTR teaching experience, Scott Meixl has been a driving force in tennis instruction in the Fox Cities. He has led the tennis programs at Valley Fitness & Racquet since 2012 and currently directs the program at the Ogden YMCA. A former national champion in singles and doubles at Navarro Junior College, Scott holds a Marketing degree and MBA from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. An avid 5.0 USTA league player, he secured a state championship in 2011 and was honored as PTR Wisconsin Member of the Year in 2018.

Scott Niemi — Junior Tennis Director
Scott Niemi grew up immersed in tennis as the son of a coach and has more than a decade of professional coaching experience behind him. He led the Greenville Parks and Recreation Department’s tennis program before joining the junior staff at Valley Fitness and Racquet while competing for the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. Scott currently serves as Junior Tennis Director at the Valley Tennis Center and has coached many of the area’s top junior players. He holds current certification with the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA) and provides personalized, high-quality instruction for players at every stage.
Adam Martin — Tennis Instructor
Adam Martin has been teaching tennis since age fifteen and was a state qualifier from Madison, Wisconsin. He played collegiate tennis at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for three years and has been teaching at the Ogden YMCA for six years. Adam has worked with players of all ages and abilities, from age three through eighty-two, bringing enthusiasm and expertise to every session.
