Getting StartedNutrition Counseling

What Are You Doing the Other 23 Hours?

You’re exercising — and that’s great. But what you eat during the rest of your day matters just as much. Our Registered Dietitians are here to make sure your whole day is supporting your health. Through personalized, one-on-one nutrition counseling, you’ll receive guidance tailored to your specific caloric and nutrient needs, activity level, and health goals — built around real food, real habits, and real life. Whether you want to lose weight, improve your energy, manage a health condition, or simply eat better, our dietitians are ready to help.

Why Work with a Registered Dietitian?

A Registered Dietitian brings professional expertise and personalized guidance that goes far beyond generic nutrition advice. Here’s why it makes a difference.

1

It's Personalized

No two people have the same body, lifestyle, or goals. Your dietitian builds a plan around you — not a generic template.

2

Evidence-Based

Registered Dietitians are trained healthcare professionals. Their guidance is grounded in science, not trends or fads.

3

Practical & Sustainable

Great nutrition isn’t about perfection — it’s about habits that fit your real life. Your dietitian will help you build lasting changes, not short-term fixes.

4

Supports Your Fitness Goals

Nutrition and exercise work together. Your dietitian coordinates with your wellness routine to make sure what you eat amplifies everything you’re doing in the gym.

Pair Nutrition with Personal Training

For the best results, combine Nutrition Counseling with Personal Training at the Y. Our certified trainers and Registered Dietitians work as a team to address both sides of your wellness — what you eat and how you move. Together, they’ll help you reach your goals faster and more sustainably than either approach alone.
